Toyota launch the Fortuner Legender with 4x4, prices start at Rs 42.33 lakh
Yes, the Toyota Fortuner Legender which was launched earlier this year, is a very stylish and ginormous SUV. The only component it probably lacked was a 4x4 variant and Toyota has now given us just that. Toyota has finally launched the new Legender AT 4x4.
Toyota has announced that the new Fortuner Legender AT 4x4 is now available at Rs 42.33 lakh. The SUV comes in a Pearl White colour scheme with a black roof.
Under the bonnet hides the same 2.8-litre engine that produces the same hefty 204PS and 500Nm of torque. It also comes strictly mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. A manual 4x4 is only available on the regular Fortuner.
The Fortuner Legender 4x4 gets the same features as its 4x2 variant. These include quad LED headlamps, sequential turn indicators, contrasting black roof, machine cut alloy wheels, black and maroon upholstery, gloss black cabin highlights, interior ambient lighting, contrasting maroon stitching, 11 JBL speakers including subwoofer, black dial instruments with white illumination, rear USB port, wireless charging and handsfree boot opening.
Standard safety features on the Legender include seven airbags, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, anti-theft alarm, whiplash protection front seats, ISOFIX child seat mounts and ABS.
V. Wiseline Sigamani, Associate General Manager, Sales and Strategic Marketing said, "At TKM, we bring innovations and new products to the market to meet the aspirations of our customers and changing market requirements. The new Legender 4X4 AT variant is another such initiative as many customers expressed a desire for a 4X4 variant for even more enhanced performance. We are hopeful that the customers will be thrilled with the new variant and the top-of-the-line off-roading and city driving capabilities that the Legender provides. We are thankful to them for their tremendous faith and trust in Toyota products over the years. On this occasion, we would also like to wish our customers a happy festive season."
Bookings for the new Legender 4X4 variant are now open.
