Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder waiting period extends up to 20-24 weeks
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder was launched in September 2022 and has already become quite a success for Toyota. The car is offered in 4 different variants: E, S, G and V and waiting periods for this hybrid SUV have now gone up to 20 to 24 months.
The Neo Drive Manual variants have the least waiting period of 12 to 16 weeks. The Neo Drive Automatic variants have a waiting period of 16 to 20 weeks. And finally, the waiting period for the top-of-the-line Hybrid variant of the Hyryder extends up to 20 to 24 weeks.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and its Maruti Suzuki derivative, the Grand Vitara, get a mild hybrid as well as a strong hybrid powertrain option. The mild-hybrid version has been developed by Suzuki which points to it being the new 1.5-litre K15C seen in the refreshed Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6 as well as in the Brezza facelift. This motor puts out 104PS and 136 Nm and can be paired with a five-speed manual and six-speed automatic.
The Hyryder can also be had with Suzuki's AllGrip AWD system with this engine and manual transmission. The strong hybrid version uses Toyota's four-cylinder petrol motor which puts out 92PS and 122 Nm and pairs that with an 80PS and 141 Nm electric motor via a CVT.
The Toyota Hyryder competes in one of the most competitive segments in the nation right now, if not the most. The Toyota Hyryder has its job cut out for it against competitors like the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun, but it distinguishes out while doing so because to the distinct strong-hybrid powertrain
