Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor: DesignThe Taisor, like every other Maruti Suzuki-Toyota product, has a few unique design characteristics that set it apart. This features a new honeycomb mesh grille with the Toyota emblem and updated LED DRLs with a similar theme to the Hyryder.
The taillights have also been modified, however, like the Fronx, they are linked with a full-width light bar. The 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels of the Taisor have also been redesigned. Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Sportin Red, Lucent Orange, and Gaming Grey are among the colour options available with only the first 3 colours available with a black roof.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor: PowertrainThe Taisor offers the same powertrain options as the Maruti Fronx. This includes a choice between a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine generating 100PS and 148Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 90PS and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, a five-speed AMT, and a six-speed torque converter automatic.
The 1.2-litre engine is also offered with a factory-fitted CNG option on the base E variant.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor: Interior and FeaturesOn the interior, the dashboard layout and style are identical to the Fronx. Even the black/maroon colour palette is comparable to the Maruti equivalent. The SUV has a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic temperature control, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, a wireless charger, and smartwatch connection.
Passengers are protected by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera.
The Urban Cruiser Taisor competes not only with its cousin, the Maruti Fronx, but also with cars like the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and the updated Mahindra XUV300 which is set to debut soon.
