TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, RTR 160 Black Editions launched; prices start at Rs 1.20 lakh
TVS has launched the new Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 160 2V Black Edition models in India at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Both special edition versions are based on their drum brake variants of the 160 4V and 160 2V and also carry over the same cost.
The new Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 160 2V feature an all-black colour scheme for the complete bodywork. Additionally, the model designation, headlight cowl, side panels, and exhaust are finished in black. However, the design of the both models remains unchanged. With the new paint job, the motorcycle appears sportier and distinctive.
The top-spec variant of the RTR 160 4V comes with a Bluetooth-enabled all-digital cluster, riding modes, and an LED headlight. Whereas, the RTR 160 2V gets three riding modes and supports TVS's proprietary app with voice assist. The prices of the former range between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.39 lakh (both ex-showroom), while the prices of the latter start at Rs 1.21 lakh and go up to Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Apache RTR 160 4V gets a 159.7cc, oil-cooled engine that makes 17.55PS and 14.73Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Apache RTR 160 2V Black Edition is powered by a 159.7cc single-cylinder engine producing 16.04PS and 13.85Nm of torque. Both engines are coupled to a five-speed gearbox.
