Ultraviolette commences deliveries of F77 in Bangalore
Electric two-wheeler start-up Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd. has commenced deliveries of the F77 in Bangalore, Karnataka. The company has invited its customers to its manufacturing facility to hand over the F77. Meanwhile, Ultraviolette is set to open its first dealership in India next month.
With the commencement of deliveries, the brand now aims to expand its footprint in India as well as in the international markets. Currently, it is building a network of dealerships across the country. With this, the electric two-wheeler maker will begin deliveries of the F77 in other cities, such as Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Delhi, among others.
Furthermore, to support its pan-India and global expansion plans, Ultraviolette intends to raise USD 120 million in a new round of investment. The brand has raised over USD 55 million since its inception from various investment entities, such as Qualcomm Ventures, TVS Motor Company, EXOR Capital, Zoho Corp, Gofrugal Technologies, and Speciale Invest.
Meanwhile, the F77 is available in a choice of three trim options: Standard, Recon, and Limited, with prices starting at Rs 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom). The Standard variant has an IDC-certified range of 206km, while Recon and Limited delivers a range of 307km. Depending on the variant, the electric motor generates 27kW/85Nm, 29kW/95Nm, and 30.2kW/100Nm. Powering the Ultraviolette F77 standard is a 7.1kWh battery pack, whereas the Recon and Limited get a larger 10.3kWh unit.
