Hyundai Creta Electric: Interior & Features

The Creta Electric is based on the ICE Creta and the interiors of the two cars are also pretty identical. The electric SUV will get an identical dual-screen dashboard layout, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. The Electric will get EV-specific graphics and menus though.

The centre console is also slightly different from the one we see in the ICE model and even the gear shifter is column-mounted. The Creta Electric will also feature an in-car payment facility which will allow customers to pay for EV charging directly from the vehicle's infotainment screen. The new car will also feature Single-pedal driving.

Other features include a wireless phone charger, dual-zone temperature control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated and powered front seats, auto-dimming IRVM and a panoramic sunroof. The Creta EV will have V2L capability and is anticipated to have features like multi-level regenerative braking.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Powertrain

There will be two battery pack options available for the upcoming Creta Electric: 51.4kWh and 42kWh units. It is stated that the range is 473 km and 390 km, respectively. Hyundai boasts that the Creta Electric can sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 7.9 seconds, albeit we do not yet have power and torque data. Other information that is currently known includes the fact that it will have three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, as well as a drive mode selector positioned on the steering column.

According to Hyundai, the 11kW AC wall box charger can charge from 10 percent to 100 percent in 4 hours, but with the help of a DC fast charger, it can juice up the same in just 58 minutes.
