Upcoming Kia Seltos facelift pictures leaked
Ahead of its 4 July India unveil, the pictures of the upcoming Kia Seltos facelift have surfaced on the internet, revealing its design. Â This mid-cycle facelift has given the SUV a much-need update in the form of a fresh look, new interior, and additional features, including a panoramic sunroof. That said, some dealerships across the country have already opened unofficial bookings for the Seltos facelift, while Kia could make the official bookings opening announcement date at the unveiling.
As a part of the mid-cycle update, the Seltos facelift gets a redesigned front and rear ends. To begin with, it comes with new headlamps and daytime driving lights, a larger and refreshed grille, a new front bumper, and vertical square-shaped LED fog lights. At the back, the SUV features revised taillamps with a light strip running across its width, a new rear bumper, and dual exhaust tips. On top of that, it also gets a new set of alloy wheels.
Upcoming Kia Seltos facelift: InteriorOn the inside, the interior features a fresh look. The most significant changes are the reworked dashboard, a new dual-display setup comprising a driver display and a touchscreen infotainment system, and revised centre console.
Upcoming Kia Seltos facelift: FeaturesAs seen in some previous spy pictures, the India-spec Seltos will come equipped with a panoramic sunroof compared to the single-pane unit on the outgoing model. In addition, the SUV is likely to boast a dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, updated connected car features, ventilated front seats, and electronic parking brake with auto hold. It is believed that Seltos facelift will feature Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). With this, it may sport a range of Level 02 autonomy functions.
Upcoming Kia Seltos facelift: Powertrain
Powering the Seltos facelift will be three distinctive engine options: 1.5-litre, inline four, naturally aspirated motor; a 1.5-litre, inline four, turbo diesel engine, and a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit that is already debuted in the Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Alcazar. This new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine will replace the 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor. Transmission options are expected to include a seven-speed DCT, a six-speed manual, a six-speed iMT, a CVT automatic, and a six-speed torque convertor.
