Upcoming Mahindra XUV400 EV spotted testing under camouflage
Mahindra is developing a wide selection of electric SUVs for both the Indian and international markets. On August 15, Mahindra will present five brand-new worldwide Born electric SUVs. Mahindra has also announced to launch an all-new electric SUV called the Mahindra XUV400 and now we have some spy images of the car under camouflage.
The brand-new Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV has been photographed road testing with factory body panels. It will be built on the X100 platform, which SsangYong produced and serves as the foundation for the XUV300 small SUV. The Mahindra XUV400 electric will be somewhat longer than the XUV300, which is a sub-4 meter SUV.
The SsangYong Tivoli SUV, which is built on the X100 chassis, will be comparable to it. The boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and the front headlights have the same form. The concept's futuristic LED lighting will be swapped out for more usable ones.
The concept's lower bumper and closed-off grille are still present on the XUV400 Electric. A modest air dam at the bottom of the production-spec variant was sealed up in the idea. Although the inside resembled the previous XUV300, we anticipate Mahindra to add the Adreno-X infotainment, amongst other things.
For the future XUV400 electric, Mahindra will purchase high-energy-dense NMC cells from LG Chem. The cylindrical LFP cells included with the Tata Nexon EV are said to be inferior to these cells. With the new Mahindra XUV400, the NMC cells will also enable Mahindra to provide more power and a greater driving range.
