Upcoming motorcycle launches and unveils in July 2023
While the first half of this calendar year brought us some exciting motorcycle launches, including the most recent launches of the Ducati Panigale V4 R and BMW M 1000 RR, the second half of 2023 will witness a range much-awaited unveils and launches and that will start with two world-renewed brands, Triumph and Harley-Davidson, entering new segments in the next month.
British marque Triumph motorcycles recently unveiled two new motorcycles, the Scrambler 400X and Speed 400. The brand also announced that it will be launching the Scrambler 400X on 5 July, 2023, along with the Speed 400. Further, the Scrambler 400X gets distinctive a split seat, a side-slung dual barrel exhaust, scrambler-like oval side panel, hand guards, and Metzeler Karoo Street tyres. It is powered by a new 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor produces 40PS and 37.5Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Scrambler 400X comes with USD front forks, a semi-digital console, dual-channel ABS, traction control, ride-by-wire, and a slipper clutch.
Triumph Speed 400
Alongside the Scrambler 400X, Triumph also revealed the new Scrambler 400X roadster with the same 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit generating 40PS and 37.5Nm of torque and comes coupled to a six-speed gearbox. It features a single-piece seat, single-barrel exhaust, and Metzeler Sportec M9RR tyres âÂ" all that has also created a distinction between the two motorcycles. However, the Speed 400 gets the same features, including ride-by-wire, traction control, dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch, and semi-digital instrument cluster. Notably, this neo-retro roadster will also be launched on 5 July, 2023.
Harley-Davidson X440
Similar to Bajaj-Triumph, Harley-Davidson has also partnered with Hero MotoCorp to build a new motorcycle, officially called the Harley-Davidson X440. The iconic American two-wheeler manufacturer has set the stage to unveil the motorcycle on 3 July, 2023. The X440 is a roadster motorcycle and like the Triumph Speed 400 and Royal Enfield Hunter 350, features neo-retro design. As its name suggests, the new Harley-Davidson X440 is likely be powered by a new 440cc, single-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed gearbox. In terms of features, it could come with all-LED lighting, a semi- or full-digital instrument cluster, traction control, ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, and more. As seen in the teaser pictures, the bike will be equipped with upside down front forks and a pair of spring shocks at the rear.
Royal Enfield
There is no secret that Royal Enfield has been working on dozens of new motorcycles based-on its 350cc, 650cc, and upcoming 450cc platforms. While the hotly anticipated among them is the Himalayan 450, there is still no official news about its unveiling. But new Himalayan 450 is not the only motorcycle Royal Enfield will reveal this year. The brand is also readying the new generation Bullet 350, Classic Bobber 350, and new variant of the Meteor 350, among others. But we expect the two-wheeler manufacturer to launch the all-new Bullet 350 in July 2023.
