Updated 2021 Range Rover Evoque launched in India, prices start from Rs 64.12 lakh
Jaguar Land Rover has updated its popular Range Rover Evoque SUV for the 2021 model year. Prices for the 2021 Range Rover Evoque start from Rs 64.12 lakh, increasing from the Rs 57.99 lakh for the BSVI versions that launched in 2020.
2021 Range Rover Evoque interiors, new features
The 2021 Range Rover Evoque gets more equipment than last year. The major additions are that of the 10-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, 360-degree cameras, a PM2.5 cabin air filter and a wireless charger with a phone signal booster. The interiors get a new dual-tone colour option called Deep Garnet/Ebony.
Notable features on the Evoque being carried over are the 11-speaker Meridian audio system, the digital instrument cluster, 10-way powered front seats, two-zone climate control and seven airbags.
2021 Range Rover Evoque petrol, diesel engines
The Evoque continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre Ingenium turbo-petrol making 250PS and 365 Nm. The 2.0-litre diesel has returned to the Range Rover Evoque line-up after being discontinued post the BSVi switchover. This 2.0-litre turbo-diesel now makes 204PS and 430 Nm. Both engine pair with a ZF eight-speed automatic. Both versions get all-wheel-drive, the Terrain Response 2 off-road modes as well as the clearsight front camera that shows the positions of the wheels and the body around obstacles. 2021 Range Rover Evoque chassis, dimensions
The second-gen Range Rover Evoque is based on Jaguar Land Rover's Premium Transverse Architecture (PTA) which uses a mix of ultra-high strength steel and aluminium for a 13 per cent stiffer structure. The Evoque is 4,371mm long, 2,100mm wide and 1,649mm tall, the overall length increasing by 1mm over the last-gen SUV. Wheelbase however, has increased by 20mm over the Previous version at 2,681mm. 2021 Range Rover Evoque prices, variantsThe variant-wise prices aren't known yet but the petrol engine is available in the  R-Dynamic SE trim while the diesel is being offered in the lower-spec S trim. The 2021 Range Rover Evoque competes with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60.
