Updated Tata Nexon spotted again
The updated Tata Nexon prototype model has been spotted testing once again. These new spy shots hint at significant design changes for the refreshed Nexon.
Updated Tata Nexon Spy Shots: Exterior
While the upcoming Nexon prototype has already been spied on multiple occasions, the latest spy photos reveal the new front and rear-end design details. As seen in the spy pictures, the fully camouflaged SUV prototype shows a newly designed face with split headlights, a new set of alloy wheels, and a new taillamp setup with a light bar running across its width. Speaking of which, the front is also likely to feature a full-length LED light bar reminiscent of the Harrier EV and Curvv showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. Apart from the aforementioned changes, the updated Nexon appears to carry forward its overhaul design.
Updated Tata Nexon Spy Shots: Interior
Although the latest spy shots did not include pictures of its interior, we expect the updated Nexon to feature a fresh look on the inside. The most significant update could be a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a seven-inch fully digital instrument cluster similar to the 2023 Safari and Harrier.
Updated Tata Nexon Spy Shots: Features
The upcoming refreshed Nexon is believed to get Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like the recently launched Safari and Harrier. Additionally, Tata may bestow it with a 360deg camera, electric parking brake with auto hold, LED headlamps, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among others.
Updated Tata Nexon Spy Shots: Powertrain
It is said that the updated Tata Nexon is expected to get a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor generating 125PS and 225Nm of torque. Notably, this engine complies with the BS6 phase-2 (RDE) norms and can run on E20 fuel. The 1.2-litre could be mated to a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Meanwhile, Tata is likely to retain the same 1.5-litre diesel unit as the on-sale model.
