Video: Honda Jazz Diesel (1.5 V) - first drive review
Honda has launched the third-generation model of the Jazz in India as a follow up to the model that stole our hearts a few years back. The new Jazz is a based on an entirely new chassis but uses the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC motor that had impressed us with its rev-happy nature. The big news though is the availability of a diesel option now, thanks to Honda's acclaimed 1.5-litre i-DTEC mill which powers the Jazz with the same power and torque output as the City. The Jazz is, in fact, almost like the new City with a smaller boot. It wears a similar design language as well with the sharp nose and the prominent shoulder line. Like its stablemates, the Jazz too comes with a wide variety of trims and also gets different seating options. The versatile Magic Seats are only limited to the top spec VX trim, but we feel that the V trim could make the most sense in the long run. In fact, that is also the trim level that we have reviewed in the video you see below.
