The Volkswagen ID.Buzz will be available in Europe by the end of 2022, according to Volkswagen. It will be available in two models: ID.Buzz for passenger vehicles and ID.Buzz Cargo for commercial vehicles. The Volkswagen Group's Modular Electric Drive (MEB) architecture will underlie the MPV.

The front doors on the Volkswagen ID.Buzz will be conventionally hinged, while the rear doors will be sliding. IQ light with adjustable dimming, full-width LED taillights and 19-inch alloy wheels are among the other highlights. 20-inch alloys are also optional.

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz MPV will be available in a five-seater standard-wheelbase variant at first. In 2023, a 7-seater with a large wheelbase will be introduced.

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz is now available in a single-motor, rear-wheel drive configuration. Volkswagen did announce, however, that in 2023, more powerful dual-motor and four-wheel drive systems will be added to the lineup.

The Volkswagen ID.Buzz has a cabin with a simple motif on the interior. It has a flat-bottom steering wheel, a 5.3-inch digital instrument display, and a 10-inch infotainment system with linked electronics. In the interior, Volkswagen employed recycled synthetic material. In the inside, Volkswagen has included lots of storage options, including a 'Buzz Box' between the front two seats.

Carsten Intra, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Brand, adds: "Both versions of the ID. Buzz are pioneering in terms of their sustainability: their manufacture and shipping has a carbon-neutral footprint. We are also using recycled synthetic materials and the interior is completely free of any real leather." He continues: "The ID. Buzz will also be used for future autonomous mobility concepts such as ridepooling â€" an e-shuttle service of Group subsidiary MOIA that can be booked via an app. The electric Bulli is thus also a part of the future of inner-city transport."
