Xiaomi SU7 Max showcased in India on the brands 10-year anniversary

Xiaomi, better known as the Chinese tech giant that makes some of the best smartphones in the world, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in India. On this occasion, the brand showcased its first-ever vehicle, the Xiaomi SU7 Max in India. The car is not for sale in the Indian market, yet.

The Xiaomi SU7 is a four-door electric sedan with a length of 4,997 mm, a width of 1,963 mm, and a height of up to 1,455 mm. The EV has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

Xiaomi says that the SU7 sedan serves as an integral element of the "Human x Car x Home" smart ecosystem that the brand is trying to form. It offers a glimpse into Xiaomi's vision for the future of the brand in India where everything comes under one single ecosystem.

The Xiaomi SU7 entry-level model will include a 73.6 kWh battery pack. The top-tier model, Max, that i on display has the bigger 101 kWh battery pack. Xiaomi created its own CTB (Cell-to-Body) technology, which integrates the battery into the car, boosting structure stiffness, removing the floor, and lowering the height for a more roomy cabin.

The Xiaomi SU7 Max which was showcased in India produces 673PS of power and 838Nm of torque. Xiaomi also claims the car has a maximum range of 800 km on a single charge and can sprint from a standstill to 100kmph in a blistering 2.78 seconds. Top speed is rated at 265kmph.

The standard SU7 produces 299PS and 400Nm of torque. Sending power just to the rear wheels, this variant can touch 100kmph in 5.28 seconds.

The Xiaomi SU7 will come with the all-new HyperOS, Xiaomi's own operating system that intends to connect the company's whole fleet of gadgets - and now automobiles. The OS should make connecting your devices with the SU7 a breeze, especially if you have other Xiaomi hardware.

The Xiaomi SU7 features a 16.1-inch 3K ultra-clear central control screen, a large 56-inch head-up display, and a rotating dashboard. It supports connecting Xiaomi tablets as additional screens, creating a 5-screen linkage in the car.
