2020 Hero Xtreme 200S BSVI launched at Rs 1.15 lakh
Hero MotoCorp has launched its faired 200cc offering, the Xtreme 200S in the BSVI avatar. The motorcycle has been now priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, ex-showroom, which has made it close to Rs 17,000 more premium than its predecessor. The design has seen no changes, however, Hero has added a new colour called Pearl Fadeless White. Additionally, the company is offering a complimentary Road Side Assistance (RSA), valid for one-year which RSA provides on-call support, repair on the spot, tow to the nearest Hero workshop, fuel delivery in case of fuel run-out, flat tyre support, battery jump-start, accidental assistance and key retrieval support.

Powering the BSVI iteration of the Hero Xtreme 200S is still the 200cc single-cylinder unit. However, this time around Hero has made it oil-cooled instead of the air-cooled unit of the previous. The power and torque ratings are 17.8PS at 8,500rpm and 16.4 Nm at 6,500rpm, both of which are lower compared to the BSIV's numbers of 18.4PS at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm. The addition of the oil-cooler and also the presence of the cat-con in the exhaust is said to have increased the kerb weight of the vehicle, which now tips the scale at 154.5kg.
