2020 Honda CD 110 Dream launched for Rs 62,729

Honda has launched the 2020 CD 110 Dream at a price of Rs 62,729 and it is offered in two variants - Standard and Deluxe. The new CD 110 Dream comes with a 110cc HET BSVI compliant fuel-injected engine powered by eSP (Enhanced Smart Power). The engine is expected to make a power of 8PS and 9Nm of torque, the official figures have not been revealed by the company. The bike gets drum brakes with CBS for rider's safety.

It hosts new features like the ACG starter, it starts the engine jolt free via the same AC generator used to generate current and charge the battery while riding. This provides a smooth and noiseless ride. The bike also gets two mechanical features that help with effortless engine start, the first one is efficient utilization of 'decompression' with slightly opened exhaust valves (at the beginning of compression stroke). And the 'swing-back' feature that rotates the engine in a slightly opposite direction, it allows the piston to take a 'running start' and start the engine with less amount of power.

The bike comes with new DC headlamps, engine start/stop switch, headlamp beam and passing switch, longer seat, new body graphics, chrome muffler cover, silver alloy wheels and body-coloured mirrors. The bike rides on HET tyres (low rolling resistance tyres) it reduces frictional loss and results in better mileage while maintaining optimum grip.

The Standard variant gets four colours - Black with Red Graphics, Black with Grey Graphics, Black with blue Graphics, Black with Cabin Gold graphics. And the Deluxe variant colour options are as follows - Black, Geny Grey metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Athletic Blue Metallic. The customers will get three years of standard warranty and three years of extended warranty. That is a six-year warranty plan rolled out by the company to boost customer sentiment. The new CD 110 Dream will take on the likes of the TVS Sport and Hero Passion Pro.
