2021 BMW R 1250 GS and GSA to be launched in India on July 8, bookings open
Last year BMW Motorrad unveiled the new R 1250 GS model line-up in the global markets and we had told you that their entry into India is likely to be delayed until the second quarter of 2021. Now we have a confirmation that the 2021 BMW R 1250 GS will be launched in the first week of July.
The BMW Motorrad dealers across India have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh and deliveries are likely to begin from mid-July. The new R 1250 GS line will be available in base-spec white or black colour options, or the range-topping Triple Black and Style Rallye packages. The latter, as before, is the sportiest of the pack and gets the rally-style short seat, wire-spoke tubeless wheels, the BMW signature tri-colour combo and a host of headlining features like the quick-shifter, cruise control, semi-active suspension fore and aft, keyless ride etc. The much talked about adaptive self-levelling headlights are likely to be an optional add-on costing around Rs 1 lakh. The lights can also swivel by up to 30-degrees for a cornering light function.
