2021 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift to launch in India on December 7
Volkswagen Indi ahs announced it will launch the mid-life facelift for the Volkswagen Tiguan on December 7. The two-row Tiguan was discontinued post the BS6 switchover and had been replaced by the three-row Tiguan Allspace with a petrol motor. The standard version is now set to make a comeback with refreshed looks and interiors and the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol available across most of Skoda-VW India's higher-end offerings.
2021 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift exterior
The new Tiguan's front end has been restyled to bring it in line with other SUVs in the VW line-up, such as the Touareg and the US-market Atlas Cross. This is seen with the wider, horizontally slatted grille and the more swept-back LED headlamps reminiscent of the latest Golf. The bonnet too has a more contoured look. At the rear, there is a mildly restyled bumper and new details for the LED tail lamps while the Tiguan lettering is now centred below the logo. A more aggressively styled R-Line variant is available internationally with the facelifted Volkswagen Tiguan but there is no confirmation on that version coming to India.

The new infotainment brings with it connected car features while other expected comforts are three-zone climate control, Harman/Kardon audio, wireless smartphone integration, 15-colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags, and the full suite of passive driver safety aids.
