2022 BMW F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure launched; prices start at Rs 12.50 lakh
BMW Motorrad has just launched the 2022 F 850 GS Pro and the new BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro models in India, pricing each of them at Rs 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.25 lakh respectively. The BS-VI adventure bikes will be available as CBU and can now be booked at BMW Motorrad dealerships, with deliveries expected to commence later this June.
On the exterior, both bikes retain the same design as before but receive sport new paint detail. The F 850 GS Pro is available in the Style Rallye package which includes a metallic blue colour scheme with golden rims and a galvanised radiator cowl, while the F 860 GS Adventure Pro can be had with a Style Rallye which includes a metallic brown colour scheme or the Style Triple Black package.
No change on the engine front with the 2022 F 850 GS Pro and the new BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro either. Both bikes are powered by the same, practically bulletproof, 853cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that produces 92.5PS at 8,250rpm and 92Nm of at 6,250rpm.
The new GS models offerer Rain, Road, Dynamic and Enduro riding modes, while the combination of BMW Motorrad ABS and the ASC automatic stability control set a good perimeter for safety. Both models also get dynamic traction control and cornering ABS, while features like heated grips and cruise control come as part of the standard equipment list. Both motorcycles are equipped with Connectivity, with a 6.5 inch full-colour TFT display. Integrating operation via the BMW Motorrad multi-controller, will give riders quick access to the vehicle's and connectivity functions.
