2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift launched in India, prices start from Rs 8.35 lakh
Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelifted 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in India. Prices for the new Ertiga start from Rs 8.35 lakh for the base LXi manual and go up to Rs 12.79 lakh for the top-spec ZXi Plus automatic. The Ertiga facelift gets a revised engine and a new six-speed auto, better tech features and slightly spruced up styling.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift variant-wise, CNG prices; subscription cost
The base CNG variant of the new Ertiga is priced at Rs 10.44 lakh while the base auto variant costs Rs 10.99 lakh. The Tour M model for fleet operators costs Rs 9.46 lakh. 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift engine, gearbox, mileage
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift now gets the updated 1.5-litre K15C four-cylinder petrol. This motor comes equipped with the DualJet tech which improves overall effieicny and driveability although power figures have dropped marginally by 2PS and 1 Nm to 103PS and 136.8 Nm. In the CNG variant, the outputs drop slightly to 100PS and 136 Nm in the petrol mode while in the CNG mode this drops further to 88PS and 121.5 Nm. The petrol Ertiga facelift can be had with a five-speed manual or a new six-speed automatic with paddle shifter while the CNG is manual only.
Fuel efficiency figures for the 2022 Ertiga facelift have increased thanks to the new engine and the addition of stop-start tech. The petrol manual Ertiga now returns 20.51 kmpl and the AT gives 20.30 kmpl. The Ertiga CNG has a mileage of 26.11 km kg.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga safety
The Maruti MPV now gets four airbags, stability control and a hill-hold function on the top trims. Standard safety equipment includes ISOFIX seats and all mandated safety features like dual airbags, ABS, seatbelt reminders and speed buzzers.

On the outside, the 2022 Ertiga facelift now features a new design for the grille with winged chrome highlights, as well as a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels and a new chrome strip on the boot. There are two new colour options as well, Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown.
The interiors of the Maruti MPV have been updated with a new 7-inch Smartplay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with a voice assistant. This also incorporates the Suzuki Connect suite of connected car features. The look on the inside has been revamped with a metallic teakwood themed finish to the dash and dual-tone seat fabric.
Other features carried over to the Ertiga facelift are the roof-mounted cooling unit for the second row, once sliding and reclining second-row and a 50:50 split-folding third row. Convenience features include cruise control, auto headlamps, climate control, vent-cooled cup holders, auto-folding outer mirrors, third-row vents, charging ports on all three rows etc.
