2022 Renault Kiger launched with cruise control and wireless phone charging, prices start at Rs 5.84 lakh

Renault Kiger has been updated with a variety of tech-based features as well as cosmetic enhancements to increase its appeal among sub-compact SUV consumers. The 2022 Renault Kiger range starts from Rs 5.84 lakh (ex-showroom)

The introduction of cruise control and wireless phone charging to the 2022 Renault Kiger is the most noticeable improvement. Both of these features have grown more widespread in automobiles sold in India, and there has been an increase in demand for them from potential customers. Even more significant, the PM2.5 Advanced Atmospheric Filter is now included as standard equipment on all models.

The Renault Kiger will be available in 2022 with a new dual-tone Metal Mustard colour scheme and a black roof. Apart from that, the Kiger now has a front skid plate, a chrome rear garnish, new door decals, and 16-inch wheels with red wheel caps.

The RXT (O) model, which was previously only available with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, will soon be available with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, as well as manual and CVT transmissions.

The Renault Kiger will continue to be powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine. The former has a 72PS and 96Nm torque output, while the latter has a max torque of 100PS and 160Nm.

The RenaultKiger will continue to be offered in 4 trims, RXE, RXL RXT, and RXZ.
