2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 launched in India at Rs 1.39 lakh
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2023 Hornet 2.0 in India at Rs 1,39,000 (ex-showroom). As a part of the update, the motorcycle now meets the latest emission regulations, new graphics, and boasts a handful of additions to its feature list. The motorcycle comes with a three-year warranty and customers can further opt for an additional seven-year warranty available as an optional extra.
2023 Honda Hornet 2.0: Design and colours
The design of the 2023 Hornet 2.0 remains unchanged, however, it features fresh graphics. The streetfighter continues with its sporty design that comprises a muscular fuel tank, edgy tank shrouds with cuts and creases, engine cowls, a split seat setup, stubby exhaust, and angular split grab rails. Honda offers the 2023 Hornet 2.0 is a choice of four paint schemes, namely Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
2023 Honda Hornet 2.0: Features and specifications
The 2023 Hornet 2.0 now comes with a slip and assist clutch. On top of that, it carries forward all-LED lighting, upside down front forks, a rear mono-shock, single petal disc brakes at both ends, tubeless tyres, and a digital instrument console, which shows odometer, tachometer, trip meters, service indicator, and gear position indicator. However, the cluster still does not offer Bluetooth connectivity, hence misses out on turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alert, and more.
2023 Honda Hornet 2.0: Engine, power outputs, and gearbox
Powering the 2023 Hornet 2.0 is a 184.40cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. This motor delivers 17.26PS and a peak torque of 15.9Nm. Notably, the engine now complies with OBD.2 emission norms.c
