2023 Hyundai Aura launched, prices start from Rs 6.29 lakh
With pricing starting at Rs 6.29 lakh for the entry-level petrol E variant and up to Rs 8.87 lakh for the CNG SX variant, Hyundai has officially launched the Aura facelift in India. Bookings for the car had already begun earlier this month for a token amount of Rs 11,000.
The Aura has just undergone an update that includes a redesigned front end with an upright nose and a two-part grille. Although it no longer has fog lights, the small car now receives new LED DRLs in the shape of an inverted L that are located at the bumper's edges.
The Aura, however, has the same design for its 15-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights, so neither the sides nor the back of the vehicle gets any major updates. With the exception of the base trim, all versions of the redesigned Aura come standard with a boot-lid spoiler.
The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol manual, 1.2-litre Kappa petrol Smart Auto AMT, and 1.2-litre Kappa petrol with CNG are the three available powertrains for the sedan. The 1.2-litre Kappa gasoline engine under the hood cranks out 83PS and 114 Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol with CNG cranks out 69PS and 95 Nm of peak torque.
The interior of the 2023 Hyundai Aura includes voice recognition, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, an engine start-stop button, TPMS, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, HAC, footwell lighting, a wireless charger, Type-C ports, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.
The Hyundai Aura will compete against the Tata Tigor, Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze in India
