2023 Hyundai Creta launched with RDE and E20-compliant engines
RDE and E20-compliant engines have been added to Hyundai's Creta midsize SUV, and the company has also made standard safety measures like six airbags across the board. This occurs just before the RDE regulations are put into effect starting in April 2023. Currently, the Hyundai Creta costs between Rs. 10.84 and 19.13 lakh.
The plethora of additional safety measures that are now standard across all variations of the 2023 Creta is its standout feature. Six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), and Hill-start Assist Control are now available for the Creta (HAC). Furthermore, rear disc brakes, ISOFIX anchorages, 60:40 split rear seats, and height-adjustable seat belts are included in every specification level.
No modifications have been made to the Creta's engine lineup or output numbers, but the petrol engines are now E20 compliant, allowing them to operate on gasoline that contains 20 percent ethanol. To address the more corrosive nature of ethanol, this calls for a few adjustments to the fuel systems, engine calibration, and rubber hoses.
Similar upgrades have also been released by Hyundai for the SUVs Alacazar and Venue. The complete SUV lineup from Hyundai is now RDE and E20 compliant.
