2023 Kia Seltos facelift fuel efficiency figures revealed

Kia has launched finally launched the much-awaited 2023 Seltos facelift in India with a fresh look, new interior, a raft of additional features, and a new turbo petrol engine. The updated SUV also comes in a wide variety of variants, colours, and transmission options. Now, the fuel efficiency figures have been revealed for its diesel and two petrol engines. Notably, the introductory prices of the SUV start from Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

2023 Kia Seltos facelift Powertrains

The 2023 Seltos facelift gets a new 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor generating 160PS and 253Nm of torque. It is coupled to a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The SUV is also powered by a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 115PS and 143.8Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission and a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel unit that comes paired with a six-speed iMT or a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine makes 116PS and 250Nm of torque.

2023 Kia Seltos facelift Mileage

According to ARAI, the new Smartstream 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine 17.7kmpl with iMT and 17.9kmpl with DCT automatic transmissions. In comparison, the ARAI-tested fuel economy of the old 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor was 16.1kmpl with a manual gearbox and 16.5kmpl DCT automatic transmission. Further, the 1.5-litre diesel motor with an iMT and AT has an ARAI-certified mileage of 20.7kmpl and 19.1kmpl, respectively. Whereas, the 1.5-litre NA petrol gives out a fuel economy of 17kmpl with a manual gearbox and 17.7kmpl with a CVT automatic, as per ARAI test cycle.

2023 Kia Seltos facelift Highlights

Kia offers the 2023 Seltos facelift with eight mono-tone and two duel-tone colours, such as Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, Clear White, Glacier White, and Pewter Oliver, including Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl and Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl. Whereas, the range-topping Seltos X-Line adorns a special Matte Graphite shade.

The refreshed model now comes with a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, dual-zone temperature control, an electric parking brake with auto hold, and above all Level 2 autonomy with 17 various functions.
