2023 Kia Seltos facelift unveiled: What is new?
Kia, the South Korean automaker, has revealed the long-awaited Seltos facelift in India with its bookings slated to open on 14 July, 2023. The facelift brings a raft of changes to the SUV, including a new engine, additional advanced features, and a fresh look inside and out. Notably, the Seltos facelift will be offered in a choice of three variants, namely X-Line, GT Line, and Tech Line. Here we tell you what are the additions to the SUV compared to the outgoing model.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift Design and Interior
The upcoming India-spec Seltos facelift features a redesigned face, comprising a new grille, reworked daytime running lights, and a new front bumper. At the back, there are two exhaust tips, revised taillights with a light strip, and a new rear bumper. It also comes with a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the SUV has a new dashboard with two 10.25-inch screens (driver display and touchscreen infotainment system), new upholstery, and redesigned centre console.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift New Features
The refreshed Seltos comes equipped with ADAS, which consists of 17 functions. Additionally, it offers a panoramic sunroof, eight-way powered drive sea, dual-zone temperature control, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. The Seltos also features 15 standard safety features and overall 32 safety features.
Further, Kia has carried forward the ventilated seats, heads-up display, connected car tech with smartwatch connectivity, eight-speaker Bose sound system, wireless charging pad, driving modes, air purifier, ESP, six airbags, traction control, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, and more.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift Powertrain
The Seltos facelift gets a new 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 160PS and 253Nm of torque. There is also be a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol unit and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, torque-convertor automatic, six-speed iMT, CVT automatic, and dual-clutch automatic.
