Mercedes-Maybach has taken a step further in terms of luxury by introducing a special edition called the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture. The S680 Haute Voiture will be limited to just 150 units.

The Haute Voiture sports a special two-tone paint job that incorporates metallic nautical blue on top and rose gold underneath to ensure it is not mistaken with any other Maybach S680. The large monoblock wheels on it are painted the same shade of blue as the body.

The same colour scheme can be seen both inside and outside the cabin. The upper door panels, dashboard, and steering wheel are painted a dark blue colour, while the interior trim is Rose Gold throughout. Inside the interior, the leather upholstery is painted Crystal White.

A badge on the centre console that displays the 150-unit production number is one of the additional design features that distinguish each model in the series from the others within the cabin. Champagne flutes that are coloured rose gold are also included, upping the level of luxury.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture comes with the renowned MBUX touchscreen infotainment system from the German luxury automaker. The MBUX also has a distinctive aesthetic look in the special edition variant. It receives images of magnolia blossoms and shimmering particles in the profile choices. The infotainment system's various avatars dress elegantly in dinner jackets, tailcoats, or evening dresses.

As with regular Maybach S680 models, the Haute Voiture features all-wheel drive and a 630PS twin-turbo 6.0-liter V-12.

Along with a miniature model of the Maybach, a key ring, and a car cover with the company emblem and Haute Voiture badge, each unit of the special edition sedan also includes a handcrafted gift box with the badge number of the car scrawled on it. The company claimed to be releasing a line of handbags at the same time as the automobile, using the same materials as the exclusive Maybach's interior.
