2023 Suzuki Hayabusa launched in India at Rs 16.90 lakh

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has launched the 2023 GSX 1300R Hayabusa in India at Rs 16,90,000 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this, the Hayabusa gets new colour schemes and an updated engine that complies with new emission norms. Notably, the brand has also commenced bookings for the 2023 Hayabusa across the country.

2023 Suzuki Hayabusa: New Colours
The most significant update for the Hayabusa 2023 model year comes in the form of three new dual-tone paint jobs identical to the 2023 Hayabusa sold in some international markets. The new colour range comprises Pearl Vigor Blue with Pearl Brilliant White, Metallic Thunder Gray with Candy Daring Red, and Metallic Mat Black No. 2 with Glass Sparkle Black.

One of the world's most popular motorcycles, the GSX 1300R Hayabusa, remains unchanged when it comes to hardware. It gets fully adjustable upside-down front forks, a fully adjustable rear mono-shock, a Brembo Stylema 320mm twin-disc setup with four-piston callipers at the front, and a 260mm single-disc brake by Nissin at the back with a single-piston calliper at the rear.

2023 Suzuki Hayabusa: Features and electronics

Furthermore, the Hayabusa comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter, traction control, power mode selector, six-axis IMU, active speed limiter, engine brake control, anti-lift control, emergency stop signal, and Suzuki's intelligent ride system. On top of that, Suzuki has outfitted it with ABS, ride-by-wire, launch control, hill ascent control, slope-dependant control system, low RPM assist, and cruise control, among others.

Suzuki has retained the good old analogue instrument cluster on the third-generation Hayabusa. However, it gets a TFT multi-information display. Hayabusa also comes with all-LED lights.

2023 Suzuki Hayabusa: The Heart
The second biggest update for the 2023 GSX 1300R Hayabusa is the OBD2-compliant engine. Powering the motorcycle is a 1,340cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled mill married to a six-speed gearbox. This motor generates 190PS at 9,700rpm and 150Nm of torque at 7,000rpm.
