TVS has launched the new Raider 125 Super Squad Edition in India at Rs 98,919 (ex-showroom). The special edition version of the sporty commuter features new colours schemes that draw inspiration from Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) superhero films. The Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer has already introduced several special-edition models of the Ntorq 125 based on the Marvel superhero films.

TVS Raider Super Squad Edition: Design and colour

The Raider Super Squad Edition retails the same overall design as the standard model but features two new colours and fresh graphics based on MCU's characters Iron Man and Black Panther. The Iron Man-inspired Raider gets a combination of bright black, red, and white livery, while the Black Panther-inspired Raider comes with a purple, black, and white paint scheme.

The special edition model continues with LED headlight and taillight, LED daytime running lights, single-channel ABS, 240mm single front disc brake, telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, 130mm rear drum brake, and 17-inch wheels, among others. It also gets an LCD display, however, this unit differs from the Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT screen available on the top-spec SX variant.

2023 TVS Raider Super Squad Edition: Powertrain

The Super Squad Edition of the Raider 125 comes powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled motor producing 11.38PS at 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. This engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

Similar to the engine specifications, the hardware of the Super Squad Edition, too, is identical to the standard model. Thus, this new version of the Raider 125 continues to use telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock to handle the shock absorption duties. Then, the braking setup includes a 240mm petal-type disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum unit at the back. This motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are shod in tubeless tyres.
