2024 Honda Amaze will be available with CNG kit at dealership level
The new Honda Amaze will now be available with the CNG powertrain as a retrofit at the dealership level. The company is also offering an extended warranty of up to seven to 7-10 years which covers the CNG fitment done at the dealership level. The new Honda Amaze is available in 6 colour options and 3 variants. The base model will set you back by Rs 8 lakh for the manual variant and the top automatic variant will cost you Rs. 10.90 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom.
Under the hood is a 1.2-litre engine that is offered with 5-speed manual and 7-speed automatic (CVT). The engine pushes 90PS and 110Nm. Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 18.65 km/l for the manual transmission and 19.46 km/l for the automatic.
Noteworthy features include an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, wireless phone charger, engine start/stop button, 7-inch MID, cruise control, powered ORVMs with auto fold, and a six-speaker sound system.
Safety kit includes 6-airbags, rearview camera with parking sensors, ADAS suit, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, ABS with EBD, ESP, ISOFIX child seat anchor points and braking assist to name a few.
At this price bracket the Honda Amaze locks horns with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor to name a few. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is available in CNG guise from the factory itself while the Honda Amaze gets it at the dealership level.
