2024 INRC: Sarthak Chavan wins across three categories with new lap record
TVS Racing teammates Sarthak Chavan and Chiranth Vishwanath recorded a victory at two premier Pro-Stock categories as the Round 3 of 2024 FMSCI Indian National Racing Championship concluded at the Madras International Circuit (MIC) on Sunday. Notably, Sarthak Chavan brought home trophies across three different categories, namely Ps 130-165cc (Race 2), Ps 301-400cc (Race 1), and EV race. He also broke not only created a new lap time of 1:48:052 but also broke his previous lap time of 1:50:329 by 2.227 seconds at MIC.
Sarthak Chavan has constantly shown remarkable performances at various championships and shows tremendous promise for India in highest class of motorcycle racing going forward. Earlier this year, the TVS Racing Team rider became the first-ever India rider to achieve podium finishes at the FIM Asia One Make Championship in Thailand, where he second in the Race 2 and third in the Race 1.
