2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R launched in India at Rs 11.09 lakh

On the occasion of the new year, Kawasaki has launched the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R in India at Rs 11,09,000 (ex-showroom). The supersport is available in two colour options: Lime Green and Metallic Graphite Grey. Its customer deliveries will begin by the end of this month. That being said, the brand had showcased the Ninja ZX-4R at the 2023 India Bike Week (IBW).

The model year update has brought a fresh design to the Japanese supersport, which draws inspiration from its Ninja family siblings. It boasts new fascia, split LED headlamps, reworked windshield, and 3D interwoven bodywork. Additionally, there are new winglets to improve stability at high speeds.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: Performance

The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R comes powered by an updated 636cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine generating 124PS at 13,000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 10,800rpm. This motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox, featuring a bi-directional quickshifter.

The supersport comes equipped with an assist-and-slipper clutch, LED indicators, Showa SFF-BP upside down front forks, a rear monoshock (both suspension setups offer preload, compression, and rebound damping adjustability), traction control with three modes, Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock brake system, power modes (road, sport, and rain), a 4.3-inch display, and smartphone connectivity via Ridology app.

Further, the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R gets dual 310mm front discs with dual radial-mounted four-piston monoblock calliper, a 220mm single rear disc, and 17-inch wheels at the both ends. Meanwhile, the company offers the India-spec model with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
