2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift: Variants explained

Maruti Suzuki has officially pulled the wraps off the new Swift hatchback in India and prices for the fourth generation of the Swift start from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in five variants, namely LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+. Paint colours include Sizzling Red, Pearl Arctic White, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, Luster Blue and Novel Orange. Three dual-tone colour options are also available, namely, Luster Blue with Midnight Black Roof, Sizzling Red with Midnight Black Roof, and Pearl Arctic White with Midnight Black Roof.

The next-gen Swift comes powered by a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Z12E petrol engine producing 82PS at 5,700rpm and 112Nm of torque at 4,300rpm. This motor is coupled to a five-speed manual and an AMT. This engine claimed to be 14 percent more economical than its predecessor, providing a mileage of 25.75kmpl.
