2024 MG Astor launched; prices start at Rs 9.98 lakh
MG India has launched the 2024 Astor in India with new prices starting at Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Astor is now available in a choice of five variants, inclduing the new Sprint variant. Other variants are namely Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.
2024 MG Astor: What is new?
For the model year update, the Astor now comes with an upgraded i-Smart system with a fresh user interface and over 80 connected car functions. On the other hand, it continues with six exterior colour options.
Apart from that, it carries forward level 2 autonomy, a panoramic sunroof, Jio-powered voice recognition system, 360deg camera, a wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated ORVMs, a six-way powered driver seat, Bluetooth-enabled digital key, electric parking brake with auto-hold, hill hold assist, six airbags, hill descent control, personal AI assistant, ESP, ABS with EBD, brake assist, traction control, auto-dimming IRVM, four-wheel disc brakes, PM 2.5 filter, and TPMS, among others.
2024 MG Astor: Powertrain
The 2024 Astor comes powered by the same 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 110PS and 140Nm of torque and a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol unit that makes 140PS and 220Nm of torque. MG offers a five-speed manual, a six-speed torque converter automatic, and a CVT automatic transmission options.
