2024 Skoda Kamiq and Scala facelifts break cover
Skoda has revealed the 2024 Kamiq and Scala facelifts bringing a range of updates to the sub-compact crossover and hatchback. Both models feature a fresh and modern look, taking inspiration from their elder siblings, such as the Karoq, Kodiaq, and the Vision RS concept.
2024 Skoda Kamiq and Scala: Design
The updated Kamiq and Scala bear a redesigned grille, reworked headlamps and daytime driving lights, and tweaked taillamps. The crossover and hatchback also come with a new model designation at the back in the form of lettering. While LED headlights are standard on both the models, Skoda now offers high-tech matrix LED headlamps as optional extras. Both the refreshed Kamiq and Scala are available with a variety of nine paint schemes. Also on offer are new alloy wheels.
2024 Skoda Kamiq and Scala: Interior
Further, as part of the update, the interior of the Kamiq and Scala also draw inspiration from the all-electric Enyaq SUV. Notably, these options also include upholstery, mats, and other parts made from recycled materials. Additionally, they get a revised temperature control panel. The range-topping variants of the corresponding models come with adjustable LED ambient lighting and sport seats.
The carmaker has equipped the Kamiq and Scala facelifts with a digital cluster, however, customers can opt a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit as an optional extra. Similarly, they get an 8.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while a larger 9.2-inch unit is optional. There are also modern USB Type-C ports and phone pockets at the back of the front seat.
2024 Skoda Kamiq and Scala: Powertrain
The 2024 Kamiq and Scala have dropped the diesel powertrains. They are now available only with the TSI Evo2 engine options: 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol motor and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol unit. The models are available in six interior design options, along with Essence, Selection, and Monte Carlo trims.
