2024 Skoda Octavia facelift sketches revealed ahead of 14 Feb debut
The Skoda has revealed the official design sketches of the long-awaited Octavia facelift. Notably, the global debut of the refreshed saloon is slated for 14 February, 2024. It will be available in Sportline and performance-focused RS versions as well. That being said, the Octavia has been the best-seller for the automaker for years and is available in two body styles: sedan and estate. Not to mention, it has achieved over seven million sales globally since its introduction in 1996.
2024 Skoda Octavia: Design and Interior
Now in its fourth generation, the Octavia facelift will feature a fresh and more aggressive styling, thanks to its new second-generation LED Matrix headlights with a new angular V-shaped daytime driving lights. As seen in the sketches, the updated Octavia will also feature redesigned front bumper, signature butterfly grille with vertical slats, and a new set of wheels. At the back, the brand has given it sharp LED taillights and a reworked bumper. In fact, there will be a new design highlight, called "Crystallinium" â" a unique crystalline element that transmits a blue tone to the interior of the headlight housing, says Skoda.
Although the design of the Octavia facelift's interior is yet to be revealed, we expect it to boast a revamped dashboard and centre console, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and new upholstery, among others.
2024 Skoda Octavia: Features
Skoda is likely to offer several new and updated features, such as ADAS, ambient lighting, connected car tech, telematics, sound system, USB Type-C ports, and more. Other notable features will include auto-dimming IRVM, powered front seats, wireless charging pad, auto headlamps and wipers, electronic parking brake with auto hold, powered tailgate, multiple airbags, and ESP, among others.
2024 Skoda Octavia: Engine
While Skoda has not disclosed the powertrains details yet, we expect the model to continue with the existing engine options. However, there could be a mild-hybrid assistance for a single or all powertrain options. Plus, Skoda might introduce an updated plug-in hybrid version with an improved range.
