2024 Tata Altroz: New variants, features & prices
Tata Motors recently introduced the new Altroz Racer in India alongside the refreshed Altroz, bringing in additional features and new variants. The updated hatchback now comes in three two new variants: XZ Lux and XZ+S Lux and an upgraded XZ+ OS variant. The XZ Lux and XZ+S Lux variants have been priced from Rs at Rs 8.99 lakh and Rs. 9.64 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively. Whereas, the XZ+ OS costs Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, these two new additional variants will be available with the petrol manual, petrol automatic, diesel and CNG engine options.
2024 Tata Altroz: What is new?
The headline feature additions to the Altroz include a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a seven-inch all-digital TFT colour instrument cluster, 360deg camera, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six airbags, iRA connected car tech, an air purifier, and a blind view monitor. However, it does not get eight speakers, leatherette seat covers, and ventilated front seats like the Altroz Racer.
Apart from that, it continues with cruise control, auto headlamps and wipers, drive modes, a sunroof, idle start/stop, and cooled glove box.

2024 Tata Altroz: Powertrain
The biggest change, under the bonnet, is the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine no longer available for the hatchback. However, the hatchback carries over the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 88PS/115Nm, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol with iCNG with 73.5PS/103Nm, and the 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel motor with 90PS/200Nm. Transmission options will include a five-speed manual and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic.
