2024 Tata Punch launched at Rs 6.13 lakh
The updated Punch from Tata Motors is now available in India at a starting price of Rs. 6.13 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition, Tata has made the sunroof variants slightly more affordable and has also added 3 more variants to the lineup - Pure (O), Adventure S and Adventure + S.
The Tata Punch is now offered in a total of 10 trims - Pure, Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Adventure S, Adventure+ S, Accomplished+, Accomplished+ S, Creative+, and Creative+ S. There are also more CNG variants on offer.
The biggest update comes on the inside where the Tata Punch also receives a reworked centre console with an armrest and rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger, a Type-C USB connector with fast charging capabilities, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connection.
The Tata Punch retains its current 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 88PS and 115Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an AMT gearbox and a 5-speed manual transmission. It is also available with a factory-installed CNG kit, which results in a 73.5PS decrease in engine power. The CNG car is strictly available with a manual gearbox.
The Tata Punch competes with the Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3 in the Indian market.
