2024 TVS Apache RTR 160R 4V launched at Rs 1.35 lakh at MotoSoul 2023
TVS has launched the 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) at the MotoSoul 2023 in Goa. With this update, it gets major changes to its braking system, new ride modes, smartphone connectivity, and a new colour. That being said, TVS' two-day motorcycling festival also showcased numerous custom built models based on the TVS Ronin and the recently launched TVS Apache RTR 310, and all-electric TVS Apache RTE. More importantly, the company introduced new riding gear range in partnership with riding gear giant Alpinestars.
2024 TVS Apache RTR 160R 4V: What is new?
TVS has bestowed the 2024 Apache RTR 160R 4V with dual-channel ABS as standard along with a larger 240mm rear disc brake compared to the previous 200mm unit, while the 270mm front disc brake has been retained. Also on offer is TVS SmartXonnect with voice assist, three ride modes (Urban, Rain, and Sport) and a new Lightning Blue paint job. The updated Apache RTR 160R 4V continues with conventional telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, a 90/90 (f) and a 130/70 (r) section tyres shod in 17-inch wheels. The rear gets a radial unit.
2024 TVS Apache RTR 160R 4V: Engine
The 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V comes powered by a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that now delivers more power at 17.63PS, while the torque output is rated at 14.73Nm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V, with its upgraded mechanicals and features, has made the competition stiffer for its competitors, namely Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, and Honda CB Hornet 2.0.
