2025 Bajaj Chetak launched at Rs 1.20 lakh
2025 Bajaj Chetak EV has been launched for Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The new 35 Series Bajaj Chetak is offered in three variants - 3501, 3502 and 3503. The top model 3501 will set you back by Rs 1.27 lakh and the company is yet to reveal the price of the base model.
The new 2025 Chetak gets a new platform and is loaded to the gills, the new frame houses a new 3.5 kWh battery placed in the floorboard which powers a 4 kW motor. The company claims a range of 153 km on a full charge and 0-80 per cent charge in three hours. The new battery placement has also liberated 35-litres of boot space, this is an improvement when compared to the 21-litres of boot space in the outgoing model.
The tech nannies include new TFT touchscreen with smartphone tethering, music controls, geofencing, and navigation to name a few. Other mentions include the single piece setup, disc brake for the front wheel and drum for the rear, sleek indicators, and round headlamp setup with DRLs to name a few. It also gets two ride modes - Eco and Sports.
The new Chetak EV gets a redesigned frame which increases the wheelbase length, and the seat is now 80 mm longer at 725 mm. The base model will arrive at a later date. This one will lock horns with the likes of the TVS iQube, Ola S1 and Ather Rizta to name a few.
