At the 2024 World Ducati Week, Ducati pulled the wraps off the all-new Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S. This new supersport has undergone significant changes, making it faster, more powerful, sleeker, and above all, more aggressive than its predecessor. In addition, it gets new ergonomics and advanced tech.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4: Design
The completely new design language offers a striking and sportier look to the new generation Panigale V4. It gets a new face with projector headlamps with integrated daytime driving lights and sculpted front winglets. These winglets are now body-coloured and as mentioned earlier, they are now incorporated into the headlight section. There is also a larger windscreen and new fairing, with the latter with newly designed vents for aerodynamic efficiency. The new tail section and rear light are sharper than before.
While the new Panigale V4 S weighs 187kg without fuel, while the V4 weighs 191kg. There is also a distinction between V4 and V4 S with the new Smart EC3.0 electronically controlled Ohlins suspension, forged aluminum wheels, and a distinctive lithium battery.
The Italian marque has worked on the riding posture of the Panigale V4 to make it better than the previous model. For instance, the new piece of seat is 35mm longer and 50mm wider, while the footpegs are 10mm further to complement to the overall comfort. Additionally, the redesigned fuel tank, which can hold 17 litres of fuel, now offers more support while braking or cornering.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4: Chassis, hardware & features
Ducati has overhauled the chassis of the V4. It gets a front frame with a 40 per cent reduction in lateral stiffness, however, longitudinal stiffness has been carried over. In order to offer better feel and faster corner speeds, the chassis has improved flexibility and is lighter too. Moreover, the new Panigale V4 replaces its single-sided swingarm with a double-sided unit, called Ducati hollow symmetrical swingarm, resulting in 37 per cent reduction in lateral stiffness, improved mechanical grip, and greater stability.
The third-gen Ohlins electronic suspension is fitted to the Panigale V4 S. There is a TTX36 monoshock at the back and an NPX-30 pressurised fork up front.
In terms of hardware, Ducati has outfitted the Panigale V4 with third-gen Ohlins suspension, which consists of NPX-30 pressurised forks at the front and a TTX36 monoshock at the back.
The supersport also boats new Brembo Hypure callipers - a next step from that of the Brembo Stylema callipers. The new units are lighter by 30 grams and more efficient at heat dissipation. Then, the braking setup is mounted on new 17-inch alloy wheels, once again, lighter by 2.17kg, which has reduced inertia. Meanwhile, it gets Pirelli Diablo Supercorse SP-V4 tyres.
The new Panigale V4 comes with a new 6.9-inch colour TFT display and is claimed to provide better results under direct sunlight. Plus, there are four power modes (Full, High, Medium and Low), Race eCBS system developed by Bosch, Ducati Vehicle Observer, MotoGP dashboard, ride modes, traction control, and wheelie control, among others.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4: Engine specifications
The new Euro5+ compliant 1,103cc V4 engine 216PS at 13,500rpm (up by 0.5PS) and a peak torque of 120.9Nm of at 11,250rpm. Figures go up to 228PS in track configuration when equipped with the Ducati Performance racing exhaust by Akrapovic. It is also lighter by 1kg and features enhanced cooling system. Derived from the Ducati MotoGP bike, the Desmosedici Stradale is a 90-degree V4 engine with desmodromic distribution, counter-rotating shaft, and Twin Pulse timing. This gives the Panigale V4 a sound that closely resembles that of the Desmosedici GP. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter.
