2025 KTM 390 Adventure and Adventure X specs surface
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure and Adventure X specs have been released on the Indian website with the prices yet to be revealed. The official Instagram handle has also featured a post on the same. Both bikes now are based on an all-new platform.
Both bikes house a 398.63-cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, four-valve, fuel-injected engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine pushes 46 PS at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine sits in an all new split-trellis frame with a bolt on subframe. The KTM 390 Adventure X gets fewer rider aids as compared to the Adventure. The list for the 390 Adventure X includes off-road ABS, ride-by-wire, quickshifter, a slipper clutch and a 12V USB socket.
At the same time, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is loaded to the gills with cruise control, switchable traction control, cornering traction control, three ride modes - Street|Rain|Off-Road, and cornering ABS to name a few.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure comes shod with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels, at the same time the 390 Adventure X runs on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The 390 Adventure X tips the scales at 182 kg and the Adventure weighs 183 kg which is 6 kg more than the outgoing model. Both bikes get a 14.5 litre fuel tank, 227 mm ground clearance, a 320 mm front rotor and 240 mm rear rotor, 43 mm USD fork upfront and a monoshock unit at the rear. The KTM 390 Adventure gets a saddle height of 830 mm and the X gets a 825 mm seat height. The suspension unit on the Adventure is fully adjustable for the front and the rear section. The suspension unit on the X is only adjustable for rear preload.
The outgoing KTM 390 Adventure retails for Rs 3.42 lakh and the X variant will set you back by Rs 2.81 lakh. We can expect price hike for both the models and it rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, BMW G310 GS, Yezdi Adventure and Royal Enfield Scram to name a few.
