2025 KTM 390 Adventure spotted again
The new generation KTM 390 Adventure has been spotted testing once again. The latest batch of spy pictures, screenshots from a video, show the clearest close-up look of the upcoming adventure tourer. Unlike the outgoing model, the new 390 Adventure will feature radical changes to its design, while the chassis, suspension, and more importantly, the engine are likely to get a complete overhaul.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Design
The new-gen update will be revolutionary for the upcoming 390 Adventure. The motorcycle will bear a never-seen-before character of a hard-core off-roader. And the recently spotted prototype of the new 390 Adventure is a testament to it. Speaking of which, the test mule in the spy shots appeared in a production-ready model undergoing final stages of testing.
The new 390 Adventure will draw inspiration from its elder sibling in terms of design, featuring a tall windscreen, a high-set fender, slanting tail section, dual projector headlamps, a single-piece seat, and split grab rails. Unlike shown in the spy pictures, the production-spec model should get sporty fairing. Not to mention, it is expected to come with a longer travel suspension compared to the currect bike.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Features
The next-gen 390 Adventure is likely to borrow features from the new 390 Duke. It could benefit from the new five-inch colour TFT display, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, switchable ABS, adjustable suspension, ride modes, and slip-and-assist clutch, among others. The brand is likely to offer it with 320mm front and 240mm rear discs.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Engine specifications
Powering the new 390 Adventure will be the new 398.63cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, LC4c engine producing 46PS at 8,500rpm and 39Nm at 6,500rpm of torque. This motor will be mated to a six-speed gearbox.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Price and launch
KTM could showcase the new 390 Adventure at EICMA 2024 later this year, followed by market launch in early 2025. The India-spec model is expected to attract a higher premium over the outgoing 390 Adventure.
