2025 MG Astor Blockbuster SUV launched at Rs 9.99 Lakh

2025 MG Astor Blockbuster SUV has been launched at Rs 9.99 Lakh(ex-showroom), with pre-bookings now open. The SUV is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired with a five-speed manual or CVT transmission and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and the car features Level 2 ADAS technology.

The vehicle also boasts a personal AI assistant, offering real-time voice recognition and interactive response. MG Astor comes with a six-airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold and descent control and 50+ safety features. The i-SMART 2.0 system includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, a digital key and 80+ connected features.

The Astor features a Bold Celestial Grille, LED Hawkeye lamps and turbine inspired alloy wheels. The Jio Voice Recognition System enables advanced voice commands for weather updates, news and navigation. MG has also introduced exclusive features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking and rear drive assist.

The MG Astor is available in multiple variants, with the top-end model priced at Rs 17.55 lakh(ex-showroom). MG Astor Blockbuster SUV is competing with likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Tiagun, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate and Toyota Taisor to name a few.
