2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 revealed
The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 has arrived, bringing in major changes across the board. For the UK, the new model will be available from £9,195 OTR.
2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 Design
The new Speed Twin 900 now gets new Marzocchi upside-down forks with fork protectors and a redesigned mudguard at the front. At the back, there are Marzocchi piggy-back rear shock absorbers along with a narrower rear frame, a slimmer mudguard, and a compact taillight. Triumph says that the new aluminium swingarm is stiffer and lighter, delivering more precise body control and a ride that is as laid back, or dynamic, as the rider desires. The seat is also slimmer and now supports the rider while cornering. In addition, there is a reworked fuel tank with an aluminium filler cap, chisled side panels and engine casing, stylised throttle body, a compact headlamp with new daytime running light, and a shorter exhaust.
Not to mention, the new Speed Twin 900 has three colour options, namely Pure White with blue and orange stripes on the tank, Phantom Black with dark grey stripes and gold accents, and Aluminium Silver with red framing the Triumph logo.
2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 Features & Hardware
The new wheels are fitted with Michelin Road Classic tyres. The slightly reduced rear wheel travel (from 120mm to 110mm) claims to improve control without sacrificing comfort. Also new to the model is Triumph branded four-piston radial calliper, mounted on a larger 320mm front disc. The rear gets a 255mm single disc with two-piston Nissin floating calliper.
In terms of ergonomics, the riding position has been updated to be natural and now claims to offer more legroom. However, the seat height has gone up to 780mm but riders can buy an optional accessory low seat that reduces the height by 20mm, from 780mm to 760mm.
The new Speed twin 900 gets two riding modes (Road and Rain), optimised cornering ABS, traction control, ride-by-throttle, updated instrument cluster display (compatible with optional heated grips and Bluetooth connectivity), and USB Type-C port. Triumph now offers cruise control as an accessory.
