2025 Yamaha R3 launched for Rs 3.60 lakh
2025 Yamaha R3 is now priced at Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in Icon Blue and Yamaha Black colour options. Meanwhile, the MT-03 now retails at Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes in Midnight Cyan and Midnight Black colour options.
The company has slashed the prices on its flagship models by Rs 1.10 lakh â" the Yamaha R3 and MT-03 effective from 1st February 2025.
Both bikes are powered by a 321cc, two-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine pushes 40.2 PS of power and 29.5 Nm of peak torque. Power figures remain identical for both bikes.
Both bikes come shod with 17-inch alloy wheels that wear tubeless tyres with a 298 mm rotor upfront and a 220 mm rotor at the rear for braking duties. Both bikes get dual-channel ABS. Suspension is done by a 37 mm USD fork for the front section and a swingarm unit at the rear. Both bikes get all LED lighting and LCD digital instrument cluster.
Both bikes get a ground clearance of 160 mm, a wheelbase of 1,380 mm, a 14-litre fuel tank and a seat height of 780 mm. The Yamaha R3 tips the scales at 169 kg and the MT-03 weighs 167 kg. The Yamaha R3 rivals the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, and Kawasaki Ninja 400 to name a few.
