Ampere Magnus Pro launched for Rs 73,990

Ampere vehicles has launched the Magnus Pro e-scooter for Rs 73,990 ex-showroom. It houses a 1200 watts motor and a 60V lithium-ion battery that provides a range of 75-80km on a full charge. There are two modes to choose from - Eco and Cruise. The company claims a range of 100km on Eco mode and 80km for Cruise mode. There is no fast charging feature available and it takes 5-6 hours for a complete charge.

The scooter has a claimed top speed of 55kmph and it hosts features like anti-theft alarm, digital LCD cluster, mobile charging point, bright LED lights, LED DRLs, telescopic suspension, 450mm leg space and large storage boot space. The scooter weighs 82kg and has a wheelbase of 1415mm, it is 1880mm long, 710mm wide, 1190mm tall and has a ground clearance of 150mm. Braking duties are done by 130mm mechanical drums with combined braking system. Additional safety features include remote entry, find my scooter, limp home feature and it rides on 10-inch tubeless tyres.

The scooter is available in 4 new colour variants Bluish Peal white, Metallic red, Graphite Black, Golden Yellow, it has been launched in Bangalore initially and will be available soon in other parts of the country as well. The company is also offering easy EMI options to the customers for quick and burden-free ownership of the scooter. A standard 3-year warranty is offered on purchase of the scooter and customers can add another two years for extra cost.

The company has over 200 dealerships across the country and select Greaves Retail outlets through which customers can book the scooter, one can also book the scooter through the official website as well.
