Aprilia RS 457 now available with quickshiter at discounted price of Rs 4.17 lakh
Aprilia India has announced a deal-breaker offer on its RS 457 for a limited period. It is offering the supersport with a quickshifter, which is an optional accessory, at a discounted price of ₹4.17 lakh (ex-showroom). The option that otherwise costs an additional Rs 27,799 is now available only at Rs 7,000 extra.
Notably, this offer is available for customers taking delivery of the RS 457 between 23 and 31 October. Also on offer is complementary roadside assistance, three-year warranty, zero down payment, and a low interest rate of 8.99 per cent.
Aprilia RS 457: Engine specifications
The middleweight supersport gets a 457cc, parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 47.58PS at 9,400rpm and 43.5Nm of torque at 6,700rpm. The motor is coupled to a six-speed gearbox. We carried some real-world performance and fuel efficiency tests on the RS 457, where that took 4.42 seconds to reach 100kmph from a standstill. Whereas, in the braking test, it covered a distance of 46.8m and took 4.8 seconds to come to a stop from 100kmph. Notably, the RS 457 returned a real-world mileage of 21.5kmpl in the city and 26.4kmpl on highway.
Aprilia RS 457: Features & hardware
The RS 457 comes equipped with a five-inch TFT colour display, all-LED lighting, three riding modes, backlit switchgear, ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. It is fitted with upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, 320mm front disc, and a 220mm rear disc. Built on an aluminium frame, its dry and wet weight stands at 159kg and 175kg, respectively.
