Audi India launches RS5 Sportback at Rs 1.04 crore
Audi India has finally launched the RS5 Sportback and it has an introductory price tag of Rs 1.04 crore.
A gloss-black RS-specific grille with a honeycomb design is added to the vehicle's appearance. To further improve the athletic attitude, the bumper and air intake have been modified. A pair of 19-inch alloy wheels have also been fitted to the RS5 Sportback. Split LED taillights and broad oval-shaped dual exhaust tips with a chrome finish distinguish the rear area.
The Audi RS5 Sportback will be available is available in 8 different colours schemes - Nardo Gray, Turbo Blue, Tango Red, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Sonoma Green and Daytona Grey.
The car's 2.9 litre twin-turbocharged V6 will accelerate the RS5 from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The engine delivers the same 450PS and 600 NM of torque, and Audi's iconic Quattro system distributes power to all four wheels. The RS5's top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h.
The RS sports suspension has been fine-tuned to complement the engine's performance, providing exceptional dynamic handling on the road. The Multifunction Steering Wheel allows the driver to select between two RS modes, which adjust the engine's power curve, transmission shifting, and steering sensitivity.
The Audi RS 5 Sportback's Alcantara/leather interiors, which are further enhanced with artistic aluminium inlays, have black and rock grey accents. The driver gets exclusive access to the 3-spoke multifunction plus leather steering wheel with shift paddles. Stainless steel accents the pedals and footrest, while RS scuff plates decorate the running boards. The front Sports seats offer electrically adjustable lumbar support with massaging function and the driver's seat offers memory for the adjustment settings.
With six airbags, including front side airbags and a curtain airbag system, the Audi RS 5 Sportback does not disappoint when it comes to safety. The cruise control with speed limits makes highway driving simple and safe. When idling, Hold Assist kicks in, avoiding rollback, which is just what you need when driving in stop-and-go traffic.
The Audi RS5 Sportback will start from Rs 1.04 crore and will compete against the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C 63.
