Sep 18: Aprilia/Vespa scooter reveal

What is it?
Details are scarce at the moment as the officials over at Piaggio are being tight-lipped about the product/s that they will launch in the country next. However, there have been talks of the Aprilia SR125 Storm, Race, or Carbon edition making their debut, as well as the something from Vespa, or some new paint options making it to India. We'll find out tomorrow, so stay tuned!
Sep 20: 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class launch

What is it?
The facelifted 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class range will launch in India on September 20. We've already driven the new cars and know the range will consist of four models starting with the C 200 petrol, the C 220d diesel, the more powerful C 300d diesel and the high-performance Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic+. This new C-Class is a significant mid-life upgrade over the current car so a mild price hike can be expected. It will also receive the EQ Boost mild hybrid system.
Sep 21 - 23: MotoGP Aragon GP

Location: Motorland Aragon, Spain
What is it?
The last round at Misano saw Dovi lead from the front and pull away while championship leader Marquez and Lorenzo battled for second. The battle saw Lorenzo crash out on the penultimate lap, and recover to finish 17th. Dovi is now ahead of Rossi by 3 points with 154 on the leaderboard, but also a long ways from Marquez's 221. Aragon looks to be a promising race as Marquez and Lorenzo will both try to capitalise on their home advantage.
Can I go?
Yes, you can. Short notice. But watching a race with the Spanish crowd can be just as exhilarating as being on the track, and an experience in itself. The ancient town of Alcaniz is a delight for history lovers with some truly sights to check out, including the church of Santa Maria a la Mayor and others.

Sep 24-25: TWO / OVERDRIVE track riding school - Level 1

Location: Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai
What is it?
Throttle Wide Open (TWO) is India's first track riding school, where you will learn the art of riding your motorcycle to the limit in a safe, quick, and smart way from motorcycling gurus including Anand Dharmaraj and our editor Shubhabrata Marmar. This Level 1 course teaches you all the basics of riding on a racetrack.
Can I go?
Of course, but you will have to hurry. Registrations are open on the IndiMotard website for only 30 spots in all for the Level 1 Session. The Open Session costs Rs 14,900, while the Level 1 training course will cost Rs 19,900. Bring a motorcycle and an open mind.
October 13-14: Ducati India's first edition of DRE Track Days

What is it?
Ducati India has just announced that it will be hosting the first edition of its Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) Track Days in the country next month. The company is inviting Ducati motorcycle owners and non-owners for the track days. Participants will also get a chance to have a go at the Ducati Panigale V4, 959 Panigale, or the SuperSport for an additional charge. And if you must learn the skill of the track, no one better than Ducati test rider Alessandro Valia to lead you on.
Can I go?
Yes, you can! Participation will cost Ducati owners Rs 10,000 in addition to charges for riding the flagship Ducati motorcycles at the track. For non-Ducati riders with motorcycles of 600cc or above, the fees start at Rs 10,000 with two track sessions and two laps on a flagship motorcycle, instead of three each for the Ducatisti.
